This thread is just a bit darker than our "light red" madder dyed wool thread. It is available in 100 yard hanks. This 2-ply thread can be used for weaving narrow goods or tapestry at approx. 30 ends per inch), to work various types of embroidery (plies NOT separable as with DMC or similar!), for braiding techniques such as fingerloop or lucet, and other historical and modern fiber arts.
