This silk thread, sold in 25 yard hanks, is primarily used for embroideries but can be used to weave tiny tapestries, braid into cord, etc. If embroidering, you can take apart the 4 plies for very fine line work or filling very small areas- each ply is much finer than a single ply of DMC cotton floss.

This batch of yarn is a light brown color, created with foraged walnut hulls. It's a great choice for representing skin tones or hair colors in your pieces of textile art.
