Is it 50 or 1950 CE? Ancient Roman, or mid-20th century? This necklace could have been worn by a woman of the Italian peninsula at either time, 900 years apart, and it would have fit right in. The light green glass beads, graduated in size, the largest being about 3/4" in diameter, feature leafy looking white lampwork patterning, and are interspersed with graduated pearls and little brass spacer beads. Measuring 15 3/4" long, it's designed to sit close to the throat. Closure is with a simple gold plated hook clasp appropriate to almost any historical time period.
