This 100% silk habotai scarf was naturally dyed with indigo from Indigofera tinctoria plants. Abstracted leaf shapes are stitch-resisted, with mpre leaves at the ends and a few scattered across the middle. The dye is applied in a subtle ombre, mid-blue at the center grading to a slightly deeper blue at the ends. It measures 15x58" and drapes beautifully whether you are wearing it around the head or as head covering. Each naturally dyed scarf we sell is unique and they make excellent gifts. To care for it, wash with mild detergent or soap by hand, and dry flat or hang to dry. You can iron it smooth while it's still damp on the silk/wool setting (about 300* F) for the most shiny smoothness.
The Golden Schelle is on hiatus in order to focus on finishing up our last few commissions and then completely revamp our inventory and website. We are closed to new orders at this time.
