This honey brown/tan color was created with a blend of foraged materials: walnut hulls and local windfall lichens, no mordant. Very low impact and sustainable! Hank size is 50 yards. This would be great for depicting skin tones or hair colors via embroidery or tapestry.

This 2-ply thread can be used for to work various types of embroidery (plies NOT separable as with DMC or similar!), weaving narrow goods, eg, tablet weaving, or tapestry, at approx. 30 ends per inch, and also for braiding techniques such as fingerloop or lucet, and other historical and modern fiber arts.
