Ivory freshwater pearls, bright brass bicone beads, and assorted emerald green glass beads are captured onto individual handmade links of chain in a manner very similar to extant jewelry pieces from Imperial Roman and/or Byzantine times. The technique was also popular in Victorian times.
The necklace measures 17.5" long and closes with a simple gold tone hook and eye clasp. All the links are brass wire.
