Using a Roman technique, each bead is captured on its own individual link of chain. This technique enjoyed a revival during Victorian times. This necklace would be more historically typical in deep orange and completely clear quartz, but it's passable as part of an historical ensemble, or lovely with modern clothes. Mid to light orange carnelian with translucent milky quartz softens the look.
