These earrings are for you if you love historical jewelry and shiny gems. They closely resemble earrings of Imperial Rome and the Byzantine Empire, utilizing our own house-made hoops that follow historical models. Made of 18 gauge gold plated wire, these are a little thicker than normal modern earring hooks and insert from the back of the ear to the front. Bright orange carnelian teardrops on the end of brass chains sway with every motion. Overall length from top of hoop to bottom of the chain dangle is just over 2.5 inches.
