This carnelian and brass beaded bracelet uses beads and stones common in ancient Greece, Rome, and Egypt. While the combination of "gold" and carnelian would be a little unusual in the Roman Empire because carnelian was relatively low in the value hierarchy of gemstones, the Egyptians often combined the two. None of them had easy to use magnetic clasps like the gold plated one on this bracelet, but it mimics a style of bead that was definitely in use in the ancient world. This bracelet measures 8 1/4" and will best fit a 6-8" wrist.
