Each bead or pearl is captured on its own link of very fine handmade wire chain, making the beads seem to float around your neck. This style was common during the Roman/Byzantine Empire. Juicy looking ovoid clear purple beads alternate with smaller ivory freshwater pearl beads. It's 19.5" long with a simple gold plated hook clasp, and it'll coordinate just as well with your modern attire as with your reenactor garb.
