Hundreds or even thousands of years ago, a "simple" strand of pearls advertised wealth, status, and femininity. Thanks to culturing, you can have that Ancient Roman or Renaissance look for many fewer gold coins than it would have cost the ancients. Fifteen and a half inches in total, these freshwater pearls are in subtle pale shades of off-white. They are strung on modern beading wire and crimp beads with a simple hook clasp.
